Dr. Stan Kovtun graduated with honors from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Before this, he received his bachelor’s degree in biology in UMass Boston. From a young age, he realized that his career ambition was to become a dentist and he enjoys working in dentistry.

These mission trips not only helped Dr. Kovtun obtain a new wealth of surgical training but have also significantly created access for dental care to the local population where a significant amount suffers from tooth loss and gum disease.
