Dr. Stan Kovtun earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree with honors from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine after completing his bachelor's degree in biology at UMass Boston. His commitment to dentistry began early, inspired by a desire to help others achieve lasting oral health and confidence.Today, Dr. Kovtun brings that same dedication and enthusiasm to every patient he treats at Alpha Plus Dental Center. He is passionate about combining clinical excellence with advanced technology to deliver precise, efficient, and comfortable care.

During his career, Dr. Kovtun participated in two mission trips to the Dominican Republic, gaining extensive hands-on experience in advanced surgical procedures such as bone grafting, sinus lifts, and implant placements. These trips not only enhanced his surgical skills but also provided critical dental care to communities with limited access, where many patients suffer from tooth loss and gum disease.

The IAOMT is an organization that is highly regarded for the development of protocols regarding the removal of dental amalgam.
